The Want was a hard-driving, kick-ass, straight-up rock n’ roll band from Jersey. A HEAVY dose of Zepp , & Humble Pie worship within their dark Sabbathy grooves. We released their recordings on CD circa 2000. They slipped into the night and were never to be heard from again. Here is the album that hits like the hammer of the gods!

L'espace d'une seconde, j'ai eu l'envie d'écrire que A Bureaucratic Desire For Extra-Capsular Extraction était une chevauchée fantastique ; mais je me suis dit que, en considérant le poids du drone/doom metal plombé de Earth, j'avais l'impression d'être sous les sabots des chevaux plutôt qu'en selle. Cette compilation ne renferme que le désespoir (la performance de Kurt Cobain sur "A Bureaucratic Desire For Revenge") et la crasse (Joe Preston piétine tout de sa batterie sur"German Dental Work").
